May & June Happenings

For today’s Friday Faves, I’m sharing a recap of May & June happenings on the blog. In case you missed anything, feel free to click on the picture and you’ll be directed to that post. Otherwise, just enjoy a little walk down memory lane with me…

The month of May began with a thought-provoking post on social media and the problem of comparison.

dare to compare

Then I shared 6 delish looking entree items I had recently added to my menu plan. Zuppa Toscana was by far my whole family’s favorite. Yum.

Did you catch all 6 steps? Here they are for quick reference!

  3. Light a Fire
  4. Wreath it Up

I did my best to tempt you with some fabulous cold drink recipes. I have made the copycat Orange Julius recipe…oh…probably 6 times so far. SO good. I hardly add any sugar at all, so it’s basically just OJ concentrate, milk, vanilla, and LOTS of ice. My kids love it. And I love that they’re getting extra vitamin C. #MomPoints

  1. I loved the mother’s day, father’s day, and your anniversary for the good thoughts and sweet idea. I used some of the father’s day links for this year. And I loooove the love journal idea. I plan to do that. 5 year anniversary would be a good occasion, but it won’t be together by then. Maybe it will be by 10 years. 😉

Also loved the drink recipes. I’ve made orange julius and iced mocha (added chocolate is always an improvement). Much enjoyed! And glad for the reminder. I need to try the one with strawberries and lime.

I also need to try the zuppa toscana soup. I’ve made so many of your recipes these months, and they’ve been delicious! So thanks!

Great ideas, thanks for sharing them all!

  2. Well, thanks for taking time to write out the specific things you loved!!! That’s so helpful to read! And I’ll join you in the 10 year journal idea. 🙂 Didn’t get done this year, but would love to do that in the future!
