For today’s Friday Faves, I’m sharing a recap of May & June happenings on the blog. In case you missed anything, feel free to click on the picture and you’ll be directed to that post. Otherwise, just enjoy a little walk down memory lane with me…
The month of May began with a thought-provoking post on social media and the problem of comparison.
Then I shared 6 delish looking entree items I had recently added to my menu plan. Zuppa Toscana was by far my whole family’s favorite. Yum.
I made some major progress in cleaning out my front closet. Hellllloooooooooooooooooo beautiful, open space!
I got kinda personal with you and shared a struggle I have with finding my niche:
Need some wall art inspiration? Here are some recent finds I’ve been loving:
Mother’s Day was both special and hard this year. Here’s why I’m thankful.
I finally got my new tutorials page up and running! Have you checked it out? Do you love it as much as I do?
How ’bout some gorgeous outdoor spaces? I could live in these pretty much all year round…
And how ’bout that series we just finished??
Did you catch all 6 steps? Here they are for quick reference!
I did my best to tempt you with some fabulous cold drink recipes. I have made the copycat Orange Julius recipe…oh…probably 6 times so far. SO good. I hardly add any sugar at all, so it’s basically just OJ concentrate, milk, vanilla, and LOTS of ice. My kids love it. And I love that they’re getting extra vitamin C. #MomPoints
Loved this quote about heroes for Memorial Day, didn’t you?
Did you make anything for Dad this year? We made a homemade card & mustache cake. Mustache cake was deeeeelish. Pound cake + homemade chocolate frosting = winner.
The nicest husband ever made something pretty special for me and I decided to show ya. Here’ s a sneak peek…
July 4th is almost here – yea! Here’s some lovely home decor I found inspiring…
Recognize the people in this pic? Yep…it’s my 3 fave people in the whole wide world.
Cel-e-bration!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, folks. My birfday happened. And I’m giving you something for it. Because I love presents. Enter here if you haven’t already! {winner will be chosen on Monday!}
I got some glittery goodness in the mail & showed you how to make a special card for a cool person in your life:
And then I finally stopped dragging things out and began showing you sneakity peeks of the outside of my home! Here are my painted $1.50 chairs:
And the pillows I stuffed to brighten things up:
And that’s a wrap! On Monday, I’m going to show you the whole shebang. Just keep in mind we’re in a rental and there aren’t many permanent changes we can make, k?
So, what was your favorite post from May & June? Did you enjoy the Curb Appeal series?

I loved the mother’s day, father’s day, and your anniversary for the good thoughts and sweet idea. I used some of the father’s day links for this year. And I loooove the love journal idea. I plan to do that. 5 year anniversary would be a good occasion, but it won’t be together by then. Maybe it will be by 10 years. 😉
Also loved the drink recipes. I’ve made orange julius and iced mocha (added chocolate is always an improvement). Much enjoyed! And glad for the reminder. I need to try the one with strawberries and lime.
I also need to try the zuppa toscana soup. I’ve made so many of your recipes these months, and they’ve been delicious! So thanks!
Great ideas, thanks for sharing them all!
Well, thanks for taking time to write out the specific things you loved!!! That’s so helpful to read! And I’ll join you in the 10 year journal idea. 🙂 Didn’t get done this year, but would love to do that in the future!
