How to Peel a Perfect Kiwi

Oh yes, it’s true. Perhaps it’s because my birthday was yesterday.  Maybe I’m reaching a new era of confidence.

I don’t think so.

Nevertheless, a couple weeks ago when I was making fruit pizza, I needed to peel quite a few kiwis. Now, in the past, I’ve always used a knife to peel off strips of the skin. This method always results in time lost and a misshapen piece of fruit. So I checked online and found this article about how to peel a kiwi using a spoon. Simple.

Here’s how you do it:

Hurray! I just bought some kiwis, and I was wishing I could see how you’d done that. Somehow I missed this earlier, but found it just in time. No more trying to suck the wasted kiwi out of the peel for me! 🙂

Supposing you don’t need to have the kiwi whole when you’re done, you can also cut the kiwi in half and use a spoon to get it out of each end/half of the fruit. That allows you to get the most kiwi out (not cutting the ends off, but rather scooping it out of the ends) My hubby taught me that 🙂 Great video! 🙂
