Today, I have a lovely + easy tutorial for you: Glitter Pinecones! These would be perfect as a vase filler or even scattered on a pretty plate surrounding a candle. And you only need 3 things:
- Pinecones
- Paintbrush
- Glitter Mod Podge
First, collect some pinecones.
Make sure your pinecones are clean and dry.
Next, use your paintbrush to dab Glitter Mod Podge on your pinecones.
Be generous with the Mod Podge so there will be lots of sparkles!
I put Mod Podge on the outside of the pinecones as well.
I let my pinecones dry overnight and then placed them in a bowl for a centerpiece.
And that’s it! Easy + Festive! Plus, pinecones transition so well from fall to winter decor, so these guys will hang out on my table even after Thanksgiving.
Have you ever used Mod Podge? It is such a fun product to work with! I used it to make my DIY Canvas Print & “Wordy Wall Art” too. If you’re not sure how to use it, here are some basics from Plaid’s website. You can find it at your local craft store {or even Walmart}, but if you happen to live far from those types of stores, you can find it online too. Plaid makes some awesome products, including the glitter Mod Podge I used for these pinecones! You can keep up with them here:
