My Goals {2013 Edition}

Happy New Year to you! I hope you have had a great first week of 2013.

I mentioned on facebook that I was taking some time off last week from my normal posting. It’s always nice to take a break, isn’t it? We packed up the kiddos & headed to Virginia to visit my family for a few days. Why, oh why does vacation time always go by so quickly?! We had a special time filled with eating, talking, present-opening, game-playing, running, and a bit of craziness thrown in.

Before 2012 ended, I took some time to reflect on the past year and create some goals for myself. Quite generally, my 2 over-arching goals for 2013 are these:

2013 goals overarching

But I realize those aren’t really measurable goals, so I also made some specific ones. Here are several of them:

2013 goals

I have different plans for each of these goals. Some began on January 1st. Others will wait until February – or even March. Bottom line: my goal is to get these things done/attempted/begun {as each case may be} during 2013.

How about you? Any goal-makers out there? Or are you a non-resolutionist? I’d love to hear!

    I am a non-resolutionist. But I do like making goals even if I don’t always reach them all.

    You’ve got some good goals. a lot along the same lines as mine. can’t wait to read about your homemade cleaners, what foods you are going to remove from your diet, how school goes with Anna Grace, and your home posts. still waiting to see your awesome yard sale chair 🙂

    and your book reviews – REALLY want to work on reading more. Like how you broke it down to reading 30 minutes a day. I might need to do that too if I want to accomplish my goal.

    I set goals every year too, but I am still working on mine. I love hearing what others plan on accomplishing each year, so thanks for sharing! I look forward to hearing how everything works out through the year! Good luck 🙂
