Today is the last day of February! And you know what that means…time for a little re-cap!
I started off the month explaining why I’m limiting my facebook time to 15 minutes/day.
A review of how my January goals went + my goals for February:
I shared some lovely Valentine’s inspiration & then took you on a little tour of my simple V-Day decor:
a few thoughts on what love really looks like.
I showed you how I made a fur pillow for my new-to-me couches. super easy tutorial here.
Aaaaand judging by the response, I think you really liked my pinterest inspired scarf holder? 😉
I’ve made & eaten #5 three times this week. I love it. My husband loves it. My daughter asked for seconds. Nate ate it all, but didn’t seem overly thrilled about anything but the boiled eggs. It’s seriously delicious.
With great happiness, I finally showed you my pallet wall art!!! It makes me happy.
And on Wednesday, I shared something God’s been teaching me about worry:
This morning, my husband is taking an exam + having an interview to see if he will be accepted into a Ph.D. program at a school in Kentucky. This is a big deal for a number of reasons – not the least of which is how God has completely changed my heart about the whole thing. We’re just taking things one step at a time and trusting God to clearly guide us as we pursue Him & His plan for our family. This is where He’s led us to today; we’ll see what tomorrow holds when we get there.
No need to worry about the final exam when He hasn’t even taught us the class yet, right? {example unashamedly pulled from Running Scared – a book I’m attempting to finish before March. I still have a few hours left. Pleeeeeenty of time.}
So what’s goin’ on with your weekend? Any feverish readers out there trying to finish a book before tomorrow? No? Just me?
Happy weekend, my friends!

I’m trying to finish a book by 5pm today so I can return it on our weekly library trip. Good luck!
so would you have to move to Kentucky? NO!! All my Charlotte friends are moving away – I need you all to be there so I can come visit you all in one place and we can thrift and talk blogging together 😉
You had some great posts this month – good balance between DIY and some heartfelt posts. 🙂 Sorry if I haven’t had time to comment on them all – I saw them all but usually read them on my phone and can’t comment from there.
thanks, Diana! I got it done with several hours to spare! woohoo!!
no, we wouldn’t be moving to KY! he would be able to take most of the courses online. 🙂
and thanks so much for the kind compliment about this month’s posts!
