Welcome back to our Curb Appeal {on the cheap} series! If you missed Steps 1, 2 or 3, click on the graphics below to get those tips:
Step 4 is one of my favorites. And take heart – this is something I bet a lot of you already do! This step definitely gets the vote for easiest:
Those last 2 wreaths pictured are the Sweater Wreath via It’s Just Laine & Tulip Wreath via The Frugal Homemaker. Gorgeous, aren’t they? And you probably remember the wreath I made from table scatter at the Dollar Store:
Yeah, that “Valentine Wreath” is still on my side door. And it’s May. I’m okay with it, though, because it makes me happy whenever I come home and see a nice love-y pic of my man and me. So don’t be surprised if you come by my house in January and see it still up. You’ll just think I’m early for next year’s Valentine’s decorating, right? Riiight?
So what’s on your front door? Anyone have a Christmas wreath still up? Comeon – you can tell me…

I still have my Christmas pinecones up–does that count? 🙂 Actually, two of them fell off and the glue I used dried out and I don’t own a hot glue gun (don’t judge!) so there’s only one Christmas pinecone still up. So maybe I should use this as inspiration to try Elmer’s glue or break down and buy a glue gun! 🙂
lol!!! I think my glue gun came from the dollar store actually!! I have gotten many hours of use out of it, so maybe you can splurge and grab one! 😀
I am enjoying this series very much. I do not have a Christmas wreath up -I have a heart that I stuck a bunny on after valentines day. I do however have greenery and cinnamon stick/berry garland around my door frame with christmas bows. I am thinking of leaving it and adding rwb bows 🙂
@diana elmers is not water proof and will wash away…. 🙁 you can have one of my glue guns ~ I had 7 at last count. One for each room, the car and a couple at work. 🙂
thanks so much, Bobbie!! Love your idea to add some red, white, and blue to what you already have on your door! Yeah for re-purposing!!! 😀
thanks for featuring my tulip wreath! Loved your series!
