I thoroughly enjoyed Emily’s coffee chat last week. So much so that I decided to have my own coffee chat with you. Let’s pretend we’re at a nice coffee shop. Or better yet, at my house and cozy with a blanket. Make that 2 blankets. Let’s not get weird and share a blanket. I only do that with my husband and kids.
// Anna Grace and I just finished listening to this audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s a lot of history packed into it…I could see someone using it as an addition to school.
// Tonight is the very last session of our Life. Intentionally. series. Have you caught them? Join us tonight at 9 EST for the very last one! You can find me on Periscope at CThrelfall…or you can just catch them here.
// I bought canned whipped cream {don’t hate} just so that I could make Abbie’s hot chocolate. I haven’t made it yet, but I have used it on top of coffee on a special date with Jonathan. Delish.
// Remember when I told you about the fresh chicken I bought from Zaycon? I pick it up Monday afternoon. 40 POUNDS, GUYS. 40 pounds of chicken. I’m making plans now as to how I’ll prep it. I’m planning to cut a lot of it into strips to marinate for grilled chicken. But the first step? Buy lots of freezer safe plastic bags.
// I recently discovered some super cute head wraps via instagram. This, of course, led to a pinterest search for DIY head wraps. I found a few cute options and pinned them to my Hair + Skin board. I’m not sure if I’ll make one. I haven’t ever tried a head wrap that I think looks good on me, so I don’t want to spend time making one if it would look terrible. That would be a pretty big bummer, right? So. For now, I just keep stalking pinterest and etsy for cute wraps. It’s a sickness, I know. But I’m doing it intentionally, so… ahem.
// And now I would like to confess that I have not yet had a coffee with a design on the top. I know, I know. First world problems. From instagram, one would think the entire population has partaken of designed lattes. Or whatever they’re called. I don’t really care that I haven’t had coffee with a leaf on the top. But I just thought it was an interesting tidbit worthy of mentioning. So there you go.
Did you like this coffee chat? Now it’s your turn to chat with me! What’s one thing that has happened for you this week? Comment below – or let me know on facebook!

Latte art! 🙂 Sometime when you guys are looking for a fun outing, head to NoDa and check out The Daily Press. Super creative menu and they have the best latte art. And you know, you can instagram it. 😉
Ooh, thanks for the recommendation, Audrey! I’m going to check them out!
