Last year, I decided to do something crazy during the month of October. It was known as blogging-every-single-day. I called it 31 Days of Building Your Marriage. It turned out to be a great series that was both an encouragement and conviction. In fact, I’m re-posting it on my facebook page this month.
This year, I debated about doing another 31 day series. And I pretty much decided not to because I don’t want blogging to take over my life.
But then I started thinking, “What if I could blog about something that would benefit me and be helpful to others?” After a brainstorming session with my editor-in-chief (aka Jonathan/Babe/husband), here’s what we came up with:
I’m a wife, mom, homemaker, and a couple other assorted and random things. There are lots of blessings in disguise associated with those “titles.” And I’m sure with the titles you hold as well.
The thing I’m most excited about? The way this is going to stretch me to find the silver lining in the cloud.
Most scared about? I’m not a silver-lining kinda girl. I’m more of a “finding the cloud” type. What if I can’t figure out anything to write about after the first day?
Come along and join me for the ride. Starts October 1.

Sounds great, Christa! Looking forward to it! 🙂
can’t wait to read it! (and join in on the madness) 🙂
I am one who tends to find the clouds too so I am sure I will benefit from your series too.
LOVE your topic and looking forward to following along! =)
Love your new series and I know that I will benefit from reading it. I am so with ya on having been on the fence with participating in the 31 Days. Homeschooling and four kids makes life busy already, but I’m crazy enough to give it a whirl. We’ll see. 😉
What a great idea for a series. I’m looking forward to what you have to share. I am blogging “I Wear Pink”. Please stop by.

Have enjoyed reading your blog as well as “31 Days of Blessings in Disguise”. A little about me: I am a nurse, wife, mother and grandmother, my 4 yr old grandson reminds me almost daily that every day is a “live action adventure” in doing this he also reminds me that there are blessings behind every cloud. . .we don’t always see them right away but they are there. Look forward to reading more.
That is such a great reminder, Sandra! Little ones have a way of teaching us some of the most important lessons. Thanks so much for sharing.
