To begin with, I have no idea why I signed up for this 31 Days event. Good grief, I’m right in the middle of preparing for my first Arts & Crafts Fair, re-applying for my teaching certificate, leading an 8 week Bible study in my home for senior high girls, and training for a 1/2 marathon.
All this while I attempt to keep 2 small children alive.
And then I go ahead and decide to blog for 31 days in a row.
I’ve come to a conclusion. It’s a good one and I think it holds true: I am insane.
There’s no other explanation that makes sense.
Despite all that, I’m not an optimist. So, all of you people out there who are? I know this post is probably driving you insane too. Come – join me in my insanity. Things are always better with 2.
Putting my rant aside, my blessing in disguise today is this:
Yes. My very first blessing in disguise is this series: 31 Days of Blessings in Disguise. Although, to tell you the truth…{cue whisper voice}…I’m not so sure it’s a blessing yet.
I have high hopes that at the end of this series I will look back at this series and say – yes, that was a blessing in disguise. A very good disguise.
In all honesty, I’m looking forward to it. And I hope you’re here to stay.

I couldn’t help but notice your 31 Days since it sounds like it might be along the lines of mine. 31 Days of Simple, But Beautiful things. And it turns out I’m noticing and appreciating some of the things I’ve just taken for granted. It’s a simple, but beautiful thing! Bless you on your journey.
