Panama Missions Trip – day 1

Ahh!!!!! I cannot believe the day has finally arrived!!! I hope I didn’t forget anything. I know I have my toilet paper, malaria meds, and prenatal vitamins – I guess those are the most important things. ๐Ÿ˜›

In case you missed it, I explained a little more about the trip here.

Here’s the rundown of our schedule today:

5:30 pm – Leave Atlanta Georgia
8:36 pm – Arrive in Panama City, Panama
9:30 pm – Customs cleared and loaded on Bus (that 9:30 pm time is a hopeful time. most likely, things will take much longer.) ๐Ÿ˜‰
10:30 pm – Arrive at Hostal Cristiano (we’ll stay here the first 2 nights before heading out to the jungle.)
12:00 am – Lights out (again, another hopeful time)

Please know that all the times listed here and in future daily updates are extremely approximate. One of the biggest things I have learned during ministry and, especially missions trips, is the need to be flexible. And flexible we will be – or else break during the process.

Please pray today that the Lord would keep us safe as we travel and go through customs.

Psalm 91:4

“He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.”
