Overflowing Oatmeal

You know it’s gonna be a rough day when…

Yes, some days I feel like a get a lot accomplished. It’s 5pm, dinner is in the crockpot, both kids are happily somewhat happily waiting for their Daddy to get home, the house is relatively clean…

And other days are more like, well, more like overflowing oatmeal days.

Here’s hoping you have a fabulous cooking day – one with the oatmeal still in the bowl. 😉

  1. I HATE it when the oatmeal overflows in the microwave, what a sticky mess! Fortunately the Lord’s loving kindness is new EVERY morning, regardless of the state of your microwave 🙂

  2. Reminds you that your cup is overflowing, right?? 🙂 My mil almost started a fire with her oatmeal in the microwave the other day. She set it for 15 MINUTES instead of SECONDS and went to make the bed. Ten minutes later they started to smell something burning. Whoops. Turned nearly the whole inside of the micro a darker color, and it still smells somewhat like burnt popcorn. Who knew oatmeal could be so dangerous, ha ha!

  3. So true, Andrea! His kindness is new & overflowing! 😉

  5. I think of you every time I have an overflowing oatmeal start to my day. Thanks for the smile. 🙂
