October Happenings

I’m pretty sure October goes down as the most life-changing month of 2013. I mean, I had a baby smack in the middle of the month and went from being a momma of 2 to a momma of 3 – 3 years old & under.

No biggie.

I jest. Of course.

Seriously, though, I am loving life. Loved the time with my parents – they were an amazingly awesome help! – and loving the extra time with my hubby as we’ve been chilling at home most weekends trying to help me recover asap. So thankful for God’s grace and strength to help me through the tough weeks of new mommy-hood and for the many friends He’s given who have given of their time and resources to help my family!

So, onto our October recap! {Click on the picture or the link to be taken to the post.}

My favorite fall recipes – have you made any of these yet? You’re missing out if you haven’t tried those pumpkin muffins!

#1 is my fave in this group of links because it gets my tummy rumblin’ every time. Also, I have yet to try #4. Not really trying any new haristyles these days…just attempting to fix it normally is enough of a goal for me at the moment. ahem.

I popped in a pregnancy series {before popping out a bebe myself} in October. It started out as a 5 part series and kinda morphed into 6 1/2 parts. Got some great interaction on the “Your Body Communicates” post – both on the post & on facebook. That seemed to be your favorite one! Here’s the rundown in case you missed any of them:

My fall bucket list isn’t crazy adventurous – mostly involving food & clothes. I have, however, completed #1 {not so sure about the exercising restraint part,though} & #9. And Jonathan & I tried to do #4, but it was too crowded. So we settled for Starbucks inside Target and found a nice little out-of-the-way spot to sit and chat away. Love talking with my guy.

I definitely want to try making #2 from this links I love grouping. Honey Cinnamon chickpeas? I’m just intrigued.

Probably my favorite post I’ve written this year…how my little Miles came into the world. 3 cheers for water breakage in public places.

And finally…a gorgeous burlap wreath with an awesome tutorial from my friend, Christina at The Frugal Homemaker.

So, happy November to you! This is certainly my favorite time of year. What a wonderful time to give thanks for all God has done for us!
