  1. this gold-dotted wall is lovely. How easy would this be to recreate – and for not a lot of of cash! Personally, I think this would be stunning in a girl’s room.
  2. I made this chocolate syrup last week. I’m not going to say it’s good for you. But it’s delicious. And a lot better than things that contain high fructose corn syrup. Jonathan & I have been having chocolate milk approximately once/day for the past week. It’s that good.
  3. In the name of health, I also deemed it necessary to make these snickerdoodles. I mean, they have a 4 1/2 out of 5 star rating from 3,530 reviews. How can you go wrong? They’re yummy dipped in milk. Just sayin’…
  4. Emily Clark posted a helpful article on choosing the right rug size. Read and be enlightened, as I was.
  5. I’m a pretty big fan of furniture re-dos. There are so many creative ways to take a formerly ugly piece and transform it into something you love. This piece is no exception. I love the herringbone pattern!

That’s a wrap for this week! My honey’s birthday is happening this weekend. He’s not really a party guy; I, however, believe that every birthday deserves something fun and special – preferably involving tasty food. I shudder to think of what would happen on his birthday if he weren’t married. {teehee} You can expect that chocolate, candles, presents, and his meal of choice will be making an appearance this weekend. Let the good times begin!

Happy weekend!
