Good News

Happy Monday to you!! We had a wonderful weekend – I hope you did too.

(By the way, I have a craft to share with you…actually, two crafts. But my computer is on the fritz right now. Which means I am using my hubby’s computer. Which means he is not using it. So, even though he’s being very kind to give up computer time for me, I don’t have time to upload all my craft “how-to” pics and write a tutorial. But it’s okay. Because I have something else to share. End of commercial.)

We started it off with a special Good Friday service at my church.

What a marvelous time to meditate on the price Jesus paid for my sins when He died on the cross. What a loving Savior I serve.

Saturday started off super well – Panera date for me and my hubby! We love Panera and we love spending time with each other. Good combination. 🙂 We took our little girl over to a friend’s house and she had a blast. In fact, she didn’t want to leave when we went to pick her up. Why does she have to start so early??? 😛 The rest of the day was filled with car inspections, grocery shopping, blahblahblah.

And wow – a bright and early morning on Sunday! 7:00 AM sunrise service. Yowski. This is about how I looked:

Only the bear is cute and sleepy. I was just sleepy. 😛

Despite the early hour, the service was indeed a blessing and worth it.

And so was the breakfast we had afterwards. Grits, anyone?

Via PlateUp Roanoke

Mmmmmm…LOVE ’em. Any grits lovers out there? My hand is high. LOVE. 🙂 My plate was 2/3 full of grits. The other 1/3 had eggs and breakfast cheesecake on it. Wow. So good. I’ll have to find the recipe and share it with you. I know my sister wouldn’t care for it right now, but that’s because she’s been traveling on  a ministry team and everyone thinks it would be great to serve her breakfast casseroles and pancakes laden with maple syrup. 🙂 heehee

And all that brings me to the real reason for this post. And that is to share this picture of my little girl with  you:

Do you get it? 😉
