$6 Chair? I Think Yes.

Reach way back in your memory. Waaaay back – like 2012. Remember that year & this series that came with it?

 On day 25 of 31, I shared the blessings of budgets & showed you this chair:

$6 Chair

I shared the story of how I got this guy for $6 over here. {yep – you read that right. 6!} And I promised I would show you a pic of the chair in it’s natural habitat. So today, I present to you: my beloved $6 chair.

$6 chair

Notice what’s on her? The sheep skin I told you about during Friday Faves. {also a pretty great steal from Target – it cost $2 more than my chair}

And a leeeeeetle bit closer so you can see the sheepy goodness…

And here’s a before & after of the living room. It’s also a before and after of my photography – it’s amazing how horrible this first pic looks. yikes.

And the other side of the room looks like this:

Now, for a little bit of random fact-itis:

  • this is the first chair we have ever bought.
  • almost every piece of furniture in this room {& our home, actually} is a “hand-me-down.” such a blessing!
  • this room already looks different because I didn’t like it the way it was.
  • I may or may not have been found sitting in & hugging this chair {after cleaning it several times}.

So, how do you like it? Any of you ever hugged your furniture before? {come on…I can’t be the only one, can I?}
